RMB Nigeria Asset Management (RMBN AM) recently collaborated with non-governmental organisation, Yellow Cowries to deliver an impactful financial literacy programme to the students of Wahab Folawiyo Senior High School, Ikoyi. This corporate social responsibility (CSR) drive coincided with RMBN AM’s Global Money Week Celebration held in Lagos.
The initiative aimed to equip the next generation with the tools to understand the value and importance of early investment. Recognising that financial education is most effective when it is engaging – RMBN AM leveraged Yellow Cowries’ powerful gamification tool to educate and encourage access to financial planning, products and services in a fun way.
Speaking on the initiative, Kike Mesubi, CEO, RMBN AM, reaffirmed their dedication to empowering young Nigerians with financial knowledge and skills. She noted that early financial education is critical to building a financially responsible generation. "Investing in the financial literacy of young Nigerians is a strategic step towards building a more financially inclusive and empowered society. Empowering the youth with financial literacy is a cornerstone of building a resilient economy," she said.
This latest CSR project reflects RMB Nigeria Asset Management’s unwavering commitment to driving community impact, promoting financial inclusion, and ensuring that young Nigerians have the knowledge and tools they need to secure their financial futures.
